Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has shared a personal prediction regarding his death.
Speaking to millions of congregants at the Old Auditorium during the evening session of the 73rd Annual RCCG Convention, Adeboye explained that his death would occur after he enjoys a normal Sunday service.
“It’s going to be on a Sunday. I will go to Church for service, dance very well and return home. I will eat pounded yam, then I will go,” he said.
He said nobody should ask how he came to this understanding.
The statement was made while Adeboye was leading prayers on the theme “Possessing Your Possession” as part of the ongoing convention titled “The Overcomers”, held at Redemption City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Adeboye encouraged members to reflect on divine healing, prosperity, fruitfulness, long life, and the battle against evil forces.
He emphasized the idea that death does not have to come after a period of illness
During his sermon, Adeboye read from 2 Corinthians 8:9 to underscore the belief that prosperity is a right for Christians, and urged the congregation to reject poverty, which he described as a tool the devil uses to hinder the spread of the gospel.
