Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said that external forces may be working to undermine President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

In a statement made available to GospelRaw, Ayodele claimed that some international interests, including figures in the United States, might be using the ongoing debate over alleged attacks on Christians in Nigeria as a political strategy.
He said his earlier predictions about potential pressure on the government were beginning to unfold.
“I have been warning that foreign powers will challenge this government, but many did not take it seriously. When I talked about the risk of a coup, people laughed it off. Yet events are gradually confirming those warnings,” he said.
Ayodele urged Nigerian authorities to investigate and respond carefully, warning that the situation could be more complicated than it appears.
His remarks came after former U.S. President Donald Trump criticized the Nigerian government on his Truth Social account. Trump accused Nigerian authorities of failing to protect Christians and claimed he had asked the Pentagon to prepare a response plan.
He warned that continued violence could lead the U.S. to suspend aid and take direct action against militant groups.
Trump described any potential operation as “fast, vicious, and sweet,” while blaming Nigeria’s leadership for alleged inaction.
