General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has announced a special prayer session aimed at seeking divine intervention for Nigeria’s economy.
The prayer gathering, set to take place in July 2025 at the RCCG’s national headquarters in Oyingbo, Lagos, will focus on the theme “Divine Intervention” as the country grapples with its current economic difficulties.
In a statement delivered by his Special Assistant on Administration, Pastor Dele Balogun, Adeboye emphasized that the challenges Nigeria is facing, as well as those affecting nations worldwide, can be overcome through faith and positive action.
“Despite the difficulties confronting Nigeria and other nations, we firmly believe that these challenges are surmountable by faith, if we stand firm and refuse to give in to doubt,” Adeboye declared.
In his call for prayer, the revered pastor urged Nigerians to set aside negative confessions and adopt a mindset of hope and faith in the country’s potential for greatness. “We must move away from negative proclamations and instead embrace the power of faith and constructive reasoning to push Nigeria forward.”
