Apostle Emmanuel Iren, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Celebration Church International (CCI), has announced plans to establish at least 50 free schools across Nigeria.
He clarified that no fundraising efforts had been made for this project, which is expected to begin either next week or the following week.
The pastor mentioned that many people had expressed interest in supporting the initiative, and he welcomed volunteers willing to assist in teaching or adopting a child.
According to him, the goal is to provide education to those who may not be able to afford it but are determined to pursue their studies.
Apostle Iren emphasised that although these schools will be free, there will still be admission criteria in place. “We want to help serious students whose only challenge is financial,” he said, underlining that the schools will cater to those with potential but limited resources.
He described this venture as a “revolutionary” step for the church and expressed confidence that, despite the schools being free, they would offer high-quality education, aiming to be among the best in the country.
The pastor also encouraged anyone with experience in similar projects to connect with the church, so they could share their insights on how best to implement the schools. The goal, he reiterated, is to make a meaningful impact and transform lives through education.
