The Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, has unveiled a series of events to celebrate the 70th birthday of its President, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele.

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, an Evening of Worship and Hymns will be held at Christ Apostolic Church, All Saints’ Chapel, within the CAC General Secretariat in Bashorun, Ibadan.
The grand finale will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the International Conference Centre (ICC), University of Ibadan, with a Thanksgiving Service starting at 9:30 a.m.
This message was issued by Pastor Ademisoye Alawode, Director of Publicity, Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, and made available to GospelRaw.
The statement further notes that Pastor Oladele has been a significant figure in Christ Apostolic Church for many years. He was appointed General Superintendent of the Church in 2014, a role he served in for six years before being named President in January 2021.
Since taking office, he has outlined a three-point agenda that includes: the unity of the Church, human capital development, and structured evangelism and church planting.
Over the past four years, the Church has seen significant progress in these areas. For instance, more than 3,000 senior pastors have participated in the Pastors’ Leadership Retreat (PLR) since its inception in January 2022.
This initiative, conceived by Pastor Oladele, is managed by the CAC Leadership Academy (CACLA), the Church’s training arm.
Under his leadership, there has also been a resurgence of the Word of God in the Church through initiatives such as the Centralized Bible Study Manual, the Discipleship Training Manual, apostolic visits, and a renewed emphasis on evangelism, which includes crusades, revivals, and prayer programs both within Nigeria and abroad.
The statement adds that Pastor Oladele has remained steadfast in his commitment to uniting the Church and advancing its mission.
His administration has also overseen significant infrastructural and structural developments, including key appointments, policies, and physical projects.
Notable achievements include the repositioning of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) and the revival of the CAC Centenary Building Project in Ikeji-Arakeji.
