According to him, “Movies enter places where missionaries cannot go, the heart, the home, and the internet. Christian films are not just entertainment; they are evangelism wrapped in storytelling.”
He further described film as one of the most powerful tools for spreading the gospel in the digital age. “Film is today’s most powerful pulpit because visuals preach faster than sermons,” he said.
Citing the Digital Missions Study 2024, Ojiekere explained that “Short inspirational films on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram now average ten times more gospel reach than physical crusades.”
He also emphasized the lasting impact of faith-based films, calling them a “legacy tool.” In his words, “A message filmed once can keep winning souls for decades after the filmmaker is gone.”
Encouraging Christians to embrace media as a means of evangelism, Ojiekere added, “You should be a filmmaker or partner with one because the screen is shaping souls daily.”
